You're correct in comparing this to an anime opening, since it is one :D Not a big fan of their poppier stuff, sice it usually just sounds like Fuki's solo recordings. Not bad, but also not what I expect from UM either. I just hope that this isn't the direction they're goin now, since they did the Unholy Orpheus record recently. I really like the mixture of brutal music with Fuki's vocals, if they split that up between the two projects, it would be a bit sad.

They really did a great job getting new members and producing this fantastic song and so quickly. They even have a couple of concerts since. They uploaded two live versions as well. This song and EVOL AI.

The composer, Tuomas Holopainen, has said that this song is his take against all the fear mongering that plaugues main stream media these days. It's a form of mind control to keep the masses of ordinary people in line with official narratives of the ruling class.

So nice to see you grabbed the uncesored cover of "Hooked", Tesla's third studio albums is really good, Mr Big S/T debut is also a killer one with two of my favorite songs. Early Stratovarious is also great stuff and Tolki is a killer guitar player. I need to give Nevermore a try..... and add the later Dio stuff, as you said is not cheap to get. cheers and be well

That Body rock album by Lee Aaron is a really good album. My second favourite from her. I would love to find Hooked on vinyl with the uncensored cover. I have the uncensored cassette version. You are going to be busy with all the new sounds.😀🤘

If you search youtube for "yu umehara" (@y0uself) you can find the vocalist's youtube channel where she regularly uploads vocal covers of songs. She also fronted a melodic death metal called "Devil Within" that was a supergroup of sorts, featuring members of various Japanese metal bands. There's a music video for their song "Flames of the End."

I have the Disqualia one and Right Now and the EOE 1st and 2nd piece. They are very good. Disquailia is nice to have as sort of Supergroup in reverse.

Very cool unboxing of both packages, Mark! The first one from Kim is very cool. Nice to see a cassette version of Malediction's The Soil Throne. The rest I'm not familiar with. The second package from Imusic is awesome as well. I'm not a Babymetal fan but that record looks really cool.

Don't have the first Crimson Glory which I wouldn't mind picking up as Transcendence is fantastic! Saxon is a band I haven't delved into yet. Bought a couple of Riot albums recently myself. The new Deicide is a good addition to their discography. Nice update here mate 🍻🤘🏻

Glad to see the package wasn't too difficult to open. I was sent a copy of the Malediction tape by Pie face and another copy by Marc G with a C, and - instead of sitting on two copies - I decided to pass one of them on to you. It's really good death metal. The Kim Sixx story is sad, but that album is really good. Straight up 80s metal. Thanks for promoing my channel too :) The first Babymetal album has some excellent songs on it for sure, including of course "Megitsune" :)

Great reaction Mark! I heard a lot of people talking about this new Opeth song, but I never checked it out until now. I haven't delved too deep into this band, I have a couple of albums but never went too far beyond that. However, I know they changed sound and got softer. So in that sense, it's great they're starting to go back to their earlier period here with the growled vocals and more Metal parts. To me it definitely sounded like it was cut down to satisfy the radio listeners, it kinda felt a little incomplete. So I'd be interested to hear the full version and see if it sounds more complete. But overall, I liked the song, look forward to hearing more from this album 🤘🏻🤘🏻

I watched the Premier the other day of Memorial of the Warrior Souls they played another song that has yet to be released Soul Defender

Hi Mark!!! Great Frontiers records haul...... i have not heard any of those cds, just know Enuff Znuff's early work from the 80's a very good and underrated glam/psych/hardrock band. Durbin (James) used to sing in one of the lastest Quiet Riot incarnations, i think he recorded one or two albums with the band and was also in America's Got Talent (?). cheers and be well
